Terms & Conditions, Room Policy
- Welcome to Mekane Lielt Hotel. By making a reservation or staying with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Reservations
- All bookings are subject to room availability. A reservation is confirmed only after receiving a confirmation message from the hotel. Guests must provide accurate personal and contact information when booking.
Payment Policy
- Guests may be required to pay a deposit or full payment in advance to secure their booking, especially during peak seasons or holidays. We accept cash and other approved payment methods at the hotel. Any additional services used during your stay must be settled before check-out.
Cancellation & No-Show
- Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate or booking platform. Failure to arrive on the check-in date without notice (no-show) may result in charges equivalent to one night’s stay or the full booking amount.
Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in time starts at 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.
Guest Identification
- All guests must present a valid passport or government-issued ID upon arrival, as required by local regulations.
Pets
- Pets are generally not allowed, unless by prior arrangement and written consent of management.
Occupancy Rules
- Only registered guests are permitted to stay in hotel rooms overnight. Bringing additional guests without informing reception is not allowed.
Guest Conduct
- Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other guests. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or request guests to leave without refund in cases of misconduct, illegal activity, or disturbance.
Smoking Policy
- Smoking is prohibited inside guest rooms and indoor areas. Guests may use designated smoking areas. Cleaning fees may apply if this rule is violated.
Liability
- While we take reasonable steps to ensure guest safety, Mekane Lielt Hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property.
Privacy Policy
- Personal information collected during booking or registration is used solely for the purpose of providing accommodation and related services.
- The Lodge respects your privacy and does not share personal data with third parties, except as required by Ethiopian law.
Children & Extra Beds
- Children of all ages are welcome.
- Extra beds or baby cots are available upon request and subject to availability.
- Additional charges may apply for extra bedding.
